Corto Lima Hosting Halloween-Themed Murder Mystery Theater

This Halloween season, Corto Lima will be hosting a festive murder mystery theater with the help of some local thespians. The Bluegrass Mystery Theatre is bringing murder and mayhem to the bluegrass, as they perform Paula Hilton's "Murder at the Monster Bash," featuring the Crumps. 

The Murder Mystery: On Wednesday, October 30th at 6:30 pm, Ivana Crump will be throwing an Honoring Our Warriors Association (HOWSA) fundraiser. It's a costume party, and we are all invited! Just know Ivana's half-sisters, Iona and Isabella, her ex-husband Connor and her current husband, Clark, will also be there.

Oh, from the look on your face, I can tell you don't know. There is some marital drama in the Crump clan. See, Connor, Ivana's ex-husband, is also Iona's ex-husband. He is now married to Isabella. Let's hope the third time is the charm. Connor is also Clark's brother; Clark, who is married to Ivana. Yeah, I get a little confused too. Best to just smile and nod when they make introductions.  

Anyway, as you might suspect, the party doesn't go as planned, money goes missing, and before the night is over, someone is gonna die! But don't let a little murder spoil your evening. There is still dinner and drinks to be had as we try to figure out who the killer is.

Thespians: Martha Campbell (Ivana Crump), Evender Hodges (Iona Crump), Tim Hull (Clark Crump), Leif Erickson (Connor Crump), and Dana Edison, owner of Bluegrass Mystery Theatre, (Isabella Crump).

The Venue: Corto Lima is located on the corner of West Short and North Limestone in downtown Lexington, Ky. They feature Latin-inspired cuisine by Chef Jonathan Lundy, with a focus on quality ingredients coupled with a relaxed dining experience. Tacos, tamales, ceviche, as well as dessert and an array of specialty cocktails, comprise their delectable menu of artisan eats. 

The Decor: Halloween24x7 is your favorite (local) decor and prop shop, specializing in peculiar pieces. Along with theater and food, Halloween24x7 will furnish some of its most popular items for decor; skull lamps, baby-doll heads, Ouija (spirit) boards. Decorations will be available for purchase, and each guest in attendance will receive a sweet little surprise.
