Custom Manufacturing
We design and build your custom parts.
Bring us a part, a sketch, or a spec. We design it, prototype it, and build it to order, in the quantity you need. Available now, no massive minimums.
On-demand mini manufacturing runs
We're set up for small batches, not mass production. On-demand means you order what you need, when you need it, without committing to thousands of units up front. That works for a first production run, a field trial, or a steady trickle of reorders. Batch minimums are small, and turnaround is typically 2 to 4 weeks.
Our tools
Three tools cover most of what we make.
- 3D printing. Our primary tool for product parts and housings. The unBOXey box cutter, which we designed and now build for its inventor, is fully 3D printed apart from the blade.
- Laser cutting. For flat parts, panels, and precise cuts in acrylic and wood.
- Resin and rubber casting from silicone molds. For durable, repeatable parts. We designed and built the molds for the RidgeWalk shoe inserts, a client's patented orthopedic product. Our own Omnibot robot tires and grippers are cast the same way, sized from measurements off the originals (accounting for how the old rubber stretched and aged).
Flagship: rubber-embedded PEMF coils (opening soon)
In PEMF, the device makes the pulse and the accessory delivers the field to the body. We make the accessories, and we've built them for several clients over the years. A coil that reaches the body gets handled, dropped, and used outdoors, so we seal it inside rubber. Moisture and daily handling don't reach the windings (not just a coil in a fabric sleeve). It's the same casting work we've done since 2016, now put to a job where durability really matters. We're opening this offering to the wider PEMF market soon.
